Baththa

Set in Madras in 1986, Baththa follows a feared local gangster whose life takes an unexpected turn when an eight-year-old boy accidentally locks him inside a school restroom. Too frightened to release the man himself, the boy’s actions lead to an unusual encounter between two people from very different worlds. As they spend time apart from the world outside, the gangster’s intimidating image begins to give way to a more vulnerable side, opening the door to an unexpected connection and personal change.
