Overview
Set in 1980s Secunderabad, The Paradise follows Jadal, a man from a marginalised community living under the control of a powerful landlord. When years of discrimination and denial of basic rights push his people towards resistance, Jadal becomes increasingly involved in their fight for dignity, recognition and citizenship. His growing confrontation with the forces controlling their lives turns a struggle for survival into a wider movement against oppression. The film combines intense action with a story of community, identity and rebellion.
